Ezio D’Onofrio is President and CEO of Globalive Communications. Ezio joined Globalive in 2001 and during his tenure; Globalive has been recognized as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009. Globalive was chosen as a winner among hundreds of applicants in recognition of the superior leadership of its management team, the perseverance and skill of its employees, and the exceptional quality of Globalive’s products and services. This step came as a result of Ezio’s remarkable achievements at Globalive over the past ten years where the company has witnessed continued market share leadership with a continuous focus on subscriber growth, resulting in increased revenues and increased net profits. Ezio oversees the Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service and Network Engineering departments and is instrumental in strategic planning and acquisitions.
Previously D’Onofrio was the Vice President of Operations at Novus Communications, where he oversaw start-up operations in both Vancouver and Toronto. Ezio’s telecom experience spans 22 years and includes positions at Rogers Cable in Toronto and Le Groupe Vidéotron, where he was involved in the start-up of their cable TV/telephony/Internet network in the United Kingdom and the U.S.
D’Onofrio sits on the boards of Canada Payphone Corporation; Globalive Investment Holdings Corp.; Globalive Telecom Holdings Corp.; Globalive Wireless Management Corp., which includes entity Wind Mobile, Canada’s newest mobile service provider; International Calling Services Incorporated; Opcom Hospitality Solutions Inc.
Ezio currently resides with his family in the Greater Toronto Area.
