Globalive and their WIND Mobile brand launched a massive campaign yesterday to raise awareness about the current state of Canadian wireless. Their press release said that due to the lack of real competition us Canadians pay 60% more for wireless services than our American friends, that our wireless penetration is only 65% and is one of the weakest in the developed world, and that the oligopoly of Telus, Rogers and Bell must be stopped to offer Canadians a real wireless alternative.

Caught with 400 hired and trained retail and customer support employees, it decided to send their workers out into the community.
