Hometown entrepreneur returns to introduce no-term-contract mobile service in St. Catharines, Welland; WIND Mobile shows support for the community and begins network rollout in Niagara region

St. Catharines, ON – November 23, 2011 – Today, WIND Mobile officially launched in the Niagara region with the announcement of the WINDthanks Niagara Region Community Grant. As a way to introduce itself to the community WIND will give a $10,000 grant to one organization or charity in St. Catharines, Welland or Niagara to support a new or existing project that brings positive change to the community.

WIND Mobile makes real customers the face of new campaign

Toronto – November 7, 2011 – A recent survey commissioned by WIND Mobile found 77 per cent of Canadians who own a cellphone feel the increase in wireless competition from the new entrants has been positive and over half (54 per cent) feel wireless prices have come down in the last two years.
