MISSISSAUGA – April 27, 2010 – Mayor Hazel McCallion joined WIND Mobile today for its official opening of its flagship call centre in Mississauga, welcoming WIND Mobile and callers alike to the city known for innovation in “Leading Today for Tomorrow.” “I’m very pleased to join in the celebration of WIND Mobile’s official opening today in the City of Mississauga,” said Mayor Hazel McCallion. “WIND Mobile’s flagship call centre contributes greatly to our local economy and it’s fitting that their customers are calling from throughout the country to Mississauga as a centre for commerce and telecommunications.” Located at 5055 Satellite Drive, the flagship call centre is over 22,000 square feet and currently employs over 150 staff.
