WIND Mobile Voted ‘Best Monthly Plan’ In Canada

WIND Mobile secures top spot in Mobile Syrup’s latest poll
Toronto, June 6, 2011 – A poll released by popular mobile technology blog, Mobile Syrup, asked Canadians, “Which Canadian carrier has the best monthly plan?” After nearly 5,000 votes were cast, WIND Mobile was selected as the carrier with the best monthly plan.
“Before launching, we spoke with Canadians and found their number one complaint against the incumbent carriers was the lack of value for money with their plans,” said Scott Campbell, Chief Marketing Officer, WIND Mobile. “Mobile Syrup’s poll shows that we have fulfilled our promise to provide choice to Canadians and a real alternative to the incumbents’ offerings.”
The poll shows WIND Mobile as the clear victor with 28 per cent of the vote cast in their favour. This is more votes than the incumbent providers received combined. “We’ve always put the consumer first by offering unlimited plans at fair prices and we’re thrilled that Canadians feel we have delivered,” added Campbell.
WIND Mobile is quickly building momentum in the wireless market. These poll results come just weeks after emerging as Canada’s fastest growing wireless carrier by securing more new subscribers in Q1 than any other wireless carrier. Since launching just over a year ago across five Canadian markets, WIND has now gained more than 300,000 subscribers.
