A foundation built on giving back

Founded by Anthony Lacavera, the Shamba Foundation was designed to make volunteering easy, accessible, and meaningful for the Globalive team. Now a registered foundation, it has enabled thousands of acts of service and meaningful support for underserved communities.

Created a digital platform that tracked and encouraged weekly volunteering.

Provided phones and internet to thousands of underprivileged kids.

Supported charities like Little Geeks, POGO, Habitat for Humanity, and the Speech Foundation.

Anthony is a founding contributor to Galleria Italia, a Frank Gehry-designed atrium at the heart of the AGO. In recognition of his support, he was given the designation of Commendatore in the Order of the Star of Italian Solidarity by the Italian government in 2008.
