She has fifteen years of combined experience in the areas of finance, accounting and tax at Globalive. Mila Glisic
Managing Director
Mila Glisic is Managing Director of Globalive Capital and Director of Finance of Pragmatic Solutions and was Director of Finance of Globalive Communications. She has over ten years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, with deep exposure to business and process analysis. She holds a B.Sc. (Hon.) in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Toronto and has received training in business analysis from Schulich School of Business at York University.

Gabriela Jandova
Office Administrator
Gabriela Jandova is Office Administrator of Globalive Capital. She previously worked as a project coordinator in mobile application development and was an academic ambassador at a language school in Toronto. She obtained a Diploma from Lambton College in Mobile Application Design and Development and a Master’s Degree from the University of Jan Amos Komensky in Economic policy and Administration.

Anthony Lacavera
Founder and Chairman
Anthony Lacavera founded Globalive in 1998 and serves as Chairman. Anthony also founded and was CEO of WIND Mobile, which he sold for USD$1.3 billion after it grew to become Canada’s fourth largest wireless carrier. A serial entrepreneur, he started his first business out of university with a small business loan from the Royal Bank of Canada. Anthony is also the founder of Globalive Technology, a software company focused on commercializing blockchain and artificial intelligence technologies where he serves as Chairman and CEO.
As a venture capitalist, Anthony has a significant stake in dozens of startups in Canada as well as the United States. As a mentor and investor, he is heavily involved in accelerators and incubators, including MaRS, Creative Destruction Lab (CDL), NEXT Canada and the DMZ at Ryerson University. Anthony has done business in more than thirty countries, ranging from producing plays on Broadway to raising almost CAD$2 billion in private capital. He is a regular television commentator and speaker on artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and the telecommunications industry. He was educated at the University of Toronto.

Simon Lockie
Partner
Simon Lockie is a Partner at Globalive Capital. He is Globalive’s lead on all legal and regulatory matters, structuring and implementing both complex and simple investments and exits. Simon has been with Globalive since 2005, initially serving as Vice President, Business Development. He also served on the board of WIND Mobile and as its Chief Regulatory Officer, was responsible for the overall direction and execution of WIND’s regulatory strategies, government affairs, antitrust matters and carrier relations.
Prior to joining Globalive, Simon was a partner at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, one of Canada’s leading transactional law firms. Simon graduated from the University of Toronto with his B.A. (Hon.) and obtained his LL.B. from McGill University. He was Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association’s International Corporate Counsel Committee from 2011 to 2013, and for three consecutive years has been recognized by the Canadian General Counsel Association as one of Canada’s top five young in-house counsel.
Simon is on the advisory boards of charitable organizations such as the Canadian Sea Turtle Network, which works to conserve endangered sea turtles in Canadian waters and worldwide and Level, which combats injustice and supports projects that advance equality in rights and opportunities worldwide.
